Come join Coastal Island Fishing Adventures as we pursue a fantastic fall salmon fishery. When most places on the coast put their boats away and call it a season we just get fired up even more. Campbell River is one of the few places on the coast that offers this fall fishing experience and we usually have beautiful weather until late October. Join us as we pursue Coho/silvers up to 20 pounds and Chum salmon that average 12 - 15lbs and often over 20lbs.

Chum and Coho are both famous for their fighting action and one just can’t say enough about it so we have asked some of are past clients to say it for us. At the end I think for those who have tried it always rebook and for those who have yet to by the time the day is over you will be booking for next year!

Our Coastal Island Charter Fishing Adventure Oct 18-19th 2009

This was my second trip with Coastal Island Fishing and the best one yet!
Gary Stotts, the owner/operator of Coastal Island Fishing Adventures has set the benchmark for Salmon Fishing in Campbell River. We not only got our limit, he made it a truly remarkable experience! Coupled with the great October weather, my partner Paul & I who flew out from Edmonton Alberta were taught every aspect of how to hook and retrieve a Chum salmon. And how to maneuver a fishing vessel through a maze of other boats during a fishing derby!

We truly felt we were given the total fishing package experience in every aspect.
Gary is not only a very capable & competent operator he has complemented his fleet with guides who will give anyone a great fishing experience. I know this personally as a different group of my friends had two separate but very competent guides on our first two day trip in July 2008. That is what prompted me to return for a second time this fall.

I look forward to returning again to Campbell River thanks to Gary and his group. When I think of my total fishing experiences with Gary Stotts and Coastal Island Fishing Adventures this old saying come to mind:

“Feed a man and you feed him for a day. Teach him how to fish and you feed him for a lifetime”
