Campbell River British Columbia offers an incredible winter Chinook/King salmon fishery from late December to early March. Abundant populations of resident Georgia Strait Chinooks/King inhabit the local waters and offer fantastic winter sport fishing. These robust Georgia Straight salmon range in sizes from eight to twenty pounds and are well known for their delicious flavor. The winter months are also excellent for prawning.
The perfect way of ending a day’s fishing is pulling up the traps and finding it full of large delicious prawns!
